DIT University, Dehradun
The Dehradun Institute of Technology was founded by the Unison group in 1998 and authorized by Act No. 10 of the Uttarakhand government. It is a private organization that collaborates with CII, FICCI, and ASSOCHAM India. The Nepal Engineering Council and the UGC, New Delhi, both recognize degrees from DIT University. A part of the Association of Indian Universities is DIT University. The B.Pharm program has been approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, while the BArch program has received approval from the Council of Architecture.
DIT University, Dehradun has received a Diamond grade in QS-IGAUGE's Overall Excellence category, placing it as the 2nd-best faculty in India. With an impressive score of 145/150, DIT University is the 1st university in Uttarakhand and among 12 other universities nationwide to receive the QS IGAUGE E-LEAD Certification for our creative brilliance in online education. Furthermore, DIT University awards merit scholarships depending on the proportion of students' JEE score and 12th grade math, chemistry, and physics marks.
More than 70 UG, graduate, and doctorate programs are available at DIT University. The most popular course offered by DIT University is the B.Tech program, with total fees for the B.Tech CSE program at DIT University, Dehradun roughly, INR 13.30 lakh. During the 2023 placement process, about 350 recruiters from DIT University participated. Notable recruiters included Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, KPMG, IBM, Optum, Commvault, and more.
